Nicola's stew is out of this world and she makes her own vegan Snickers bars called Snickys & I'm devastated that we don't live closer to have them on a daily basis. If we could get her to send a batch in the post we would🤣 We were in west Cork for a couple of days & she was very warm, friendly & gave recommendations. Lough Hyne just 10 mins drive away is well worth a visit, it's just as exquisite as this little cafe/bookshop that she clearly has put so much love and dedication into. I couldn't recommend her place and food enough.

We've just moved to Ireland and had to call in at the NCT centre to register our vehicle. What a joy to find such a lovely welcome at this fabulous cafe with the most delicious homemade food. We had the tastiest vegetable stew with a choice of freshly baked bread. We'll certainly be back to sample the other many delights and the coffee and cakes, which made our mouths water just to look at, plus explore the wonderful collection of books and LPs.
